Clapham Books

I was at Clapham Books in South London on Saturday, reading from Guinea Pigs Online and Puppies Online.  One of the audience wanted labradors in our books.  Good idea...watch this space...

Hospital School

I visited Chelsea and Westminster Hospital's School on Monday.  I talked about my books, read from Guinea Pigs Online and then we had a chat about books and reading.  I had a lovely time and hope the children did, too.  Thanks to all for making me feel so welcome.

Puppies Online: Puffin Patrol is out today!

The pups are thrilled to be back at Sandcliff Lighhouse Kennels for another holiday by the sea!  But they soon find themselves in a sticky situation...

The local beach is covered in dog poo - it's so bad even the puffins are staying away!  When the locals start to blame the kennels for the putrid poo, the pups know they have to do something.

Can the pups uncover the stinking truth in time to save the kennels and clean up the beach?

We Are Writers at Invicta Primary School

I had a lovely time writing stories with small groups of children at Invicta Primary School in Blackheath.  The stories are going to be collected together in a book as part of Scholastic's We Are Writers scheme.  Watch this space in April for more news of the publication!

Princess Daisy and the Dragon and the Nincompoop Knights

This is a fab new picture book by Steve Lenton, who illustrates Puppies Online.  I went to the launch last week at Pickled Pepper Books in Crouch End.  Lovely shop!  And now I've got my gorgeous book, signed by Steve.  It's a great read about a feisty princess and there's even a snail-spotting activity...
